Tuesday 4th March 2025  

Today, rather than having time in the LRC, This morning we had some time in our casts to talk to our tutor about some things that were worrying us about our casts of DNA, our actual rehearsals are going well, but there has been some problems in our cast, and Scarlet has been a very responsible assistant director sorting them out, so today we all sat down together and decided that we should all be talking to each other more because communication has been lacking between us.  

Wednesday 5th March 2025  

Today, we did more DNA rehearsals, after our discussion yesterday, i think today’s rehearsals went a lot smoother and we seemed to get on better so we spent today just running through all the scenes we have done, just trying to see the best ways to do those scenes.  

Thursday 6th March 2025  

Today we continued on a musical number for our showcase we are doing welcome to the rock from come from away the musical, we started this in our last session, and today we did more of it, i really like this number it is a good one, not just for the singing and dancing, but for the acting too.  

After this session, we then moved on to DNA rehearsals, and we just kept running things and getting notes from each other so we could improve things, and just keep bettering our performance.  

Monday 10th March 2025  

Today was the start of normalised show week, as i am not in normalised this week i used to do more of my production role social media and marketing, today i watched parts of rehearsals whilst also making notes on the things that i would be doing this week. Whilst nipping in and out of DNA rehearsals when i wasn’t needed because the first years from our cast are all in Normalised.  

Tuesday 11th March 2025  

Today, I started on social media with Lily Day, we did a day in the life of an acting student on show day, and we did what is your favourite line in the show and i'm passing the phone to’ but in character, and we also did can you introduce your character. After the day was done, i then went home and edited all of the clips together into their separate videos i think in total it took me about two hours to edit them but it was very fun.  

 

Wednesday 12th March 2025  

Today, we had another bitty day, we were between DNA rehearsals and the first years doing Normalised. Whilst we did have the first years there we tried to run it as many times as we could because we are at that point where we are just running it again and again.  

Thursday 13th March 2025  

Today was normalised show day, so we didn't get much DNA rehearsals done, but i spent the day between doing social media and work in the LRC, finishing up some character work i had done and needed to type up for DNA.

 Pinocchio Evaluation  My aims for Pinocchio were to entertain the audience and creating a magical experience for the families, children and adults all of those who came to see the show . The impact that i wanted to have on the audience was that they felt like they had been submerged into a world of Disney , and that they were really as part of the world that we had created.
