Tuesday 4th March 2025    Today, rather than having time in the LRC, This morning we had some time in our casts to talk to our tutor about some things that were worrying us about our casts of DNA, our actual rehearsals are going well, but there has been some problems in our cast, and Scarlet has been a very responsible assistant director so rting them out, so today we all sat down together and decided that we should all be talking to each other more because communication has been lacking between us.    Wednesday 5 th March 2025    Today, we did more DNA rehearsals, after our discussion yesterday, i think today’s rehearsals went a lot smoother and we seemed to get on better so we spent today just running through all the scenes we have done, just trying to see the best ways to do those scenes.    Thursday 6 th March 2025    Today we con tinued on a musical number f o r o u r showcase we are do ing welcome to the rock from come fr...

Monday 3rd February 2025  Today, we started off with warm ups, we focused on some improvisation i find improvisation work really helpful because it helps you to think more on the spot which is a really useful thing to be able to do as an actor. Because if something goes wrong on stage then you need to be able to think fast to cover it up.  We then moved on to a group task where we were given a stimulus which was lines from the song ‘Yesterday’ by the Beatles. We had to use them to work on our dialect and focus on our diction. We then had to make a group scene using the stimulus, our group created a piece about a boy who has an abusive father and his mother leaves because she can’t deal with the abuse anymore. And he doesn't cope well, his friends try to contact him and he is struggling with his mental health and at the end he ends his own life, i think this was an emotionally challenging piece to do especially acting as the mam, but i think as a group because we all discussed ...
