My first research i did, was contextual and character research, to get a better understanding of the time period and the characters in the play.

For my production role, i started off with doing my research on costume. I researched everything from what each gender wore, and each social class. I then moved on to more specific research of factory girls, doctors, society woman and made a full research powerpoint.

The first thing i did, was create a plan with who should wear what as each character

I also planned out what i was going to do to raise money for costumes and where i was going to document my ideas and plans.

This is a photo from the first costume ideas, I had labelled them and hung them all up as a start. 


 


This is the costume we found for Alma Macneil, i found it on Shein, we thought that a black costume would be best for Macneil because it symbolises power and maturity, and Macneil is a woman in power. 



As a part of costume, i chose to find some hairstyles and hair accessories, i practices some styles that i did find, and i bought a pack of 15 hair bandannas that we could use, so i bought them. 



There is five plain silk looking colours, five plain colours and five flowery patterned ones. 
This is a closer view at how the bandannas look, i have worked out the people who wear different coloured clothes and figures out which ones will work best for those characters.

 Pinocchio Evaluation  My aims for Pinocchio were to entertain the audience and creating a magical experience for the families, children and adults all of those who came to see the show .
