 Monday 6 November - Auditions day 1 

 Today was the start of audition week, the first audition was the acting audition, i auditioned for Wendy Darling. I chose to go for the character of Wendy Darling because i wanted to push myself, i wanted to see how far i could go, and growing up i was obsessed with peter pan and always looked up to Wendy. The audition scene for Wendy was the bedroom scene where Peter first meets Wendy, we had to do our audition for Kelly and also for a panel, of our peers. This was a very good experience because I personally believe the professional feel of it will really help prepare us for the real world and the acting industry. Personally, i felt like the acting audition went quite well, i was really nervous and thought it was going to go worse, but i think it was good. If i had to do it again, i would definitely have more confidence in myself and i would move around more, i think i stayed too still in the same place because i was nervous. After the auditions, we used the time to either prepare our singing audition, or to complete our year 1  assignment. 

Tuesday 7 November- Auditions day 2 

Today was the second day of audition week, today we did chemistry auditions to see how well we could work with other people in a scene, i worked with Evie and we did first the audition scene we both did for Peter and Wendy, and then we worked with Sophia on a hook, peter and Wendy scene. We then showed the whole class and Kelly. I really enjoyed working with evie and sophia, it was easy to interact with them, i think this went quite well. 

Wednesday 8 November- Auditions day 3

Today was the third day of audition week, today we started the morning with movement auditions, we had to get in a group of three with random people and follow Abbie's instruction on the movement routine, we worked through the whole movement routine as a big group and then we got split into groups so we could show Abbie and Kelly so they could focus on everyone a little bit better. After that, we did a vocal warm up with Tom ready for our singing audition, we then practised on our own until it was time to audition, at first all the Wendys' went in as a group, then we all went in individually, i have never been a confident singer because it is not my strong suit, but i gave it a go and i am glad i tried. I know i didnt do too good in the singing audition, but i have never been a singer and i just wanted to try and do my best. If i had to do it again, i would definetly try and practice it even more than i did, and i would have more confidence in myself, i didnt think i would do well and i think that showed in my singing.

Thursday 9 November- Auditions day 4 

Today we worked in groups of Lost boys, brave girls and pirates, we worked in our groups to figure out how we wanted to portray our groups and work to make the piece come to life, i went with the brave girls, we created a piece together which was around the campfire, it was when Tiger lily comes back from being captured by the pirates after Peter Pan saves her, we found that we worked well as a team and pulled quite a cute piece together. 

Monday 13 November- Suspense is finally over 

Today, we spent the day in the theatre doing warm ups and activities, while Kelly talked to people throughout the day about what role they received we did an activity given to us by Kelly that was three truths and a lie, but we had to act out the things in a creative way, my group said, "We have all been to Italy, we all like potatoes, we all have pets, and we have never seen the film 'Gone with the wind' " The lie was Italy. none of us had ever been to italy, we also played the shoe game and splat and 13. In the afternoon Kelly told me the roles i had gotten, I am, Nibs, Bravest Girl and she let me choose if i wanted to be a pirate, lost boy or brave girl, i chose brave girl because i have a real interest in the brave girls and am looking forward to seeing how we bring them to life. 

Tuesday 14 November- Character singing 

Today we started with singing warm ups, led by Tom, we then spent the day going through the songs, when we were not singing, we were learning lines, and helping other people sing, or helping other people with their singing. In the afternoon, i stayed to help a group of Hook, Smee and Starkey to rehearse because their peter was busy, so i read in the peter lines, i then ran through my lines in a little group of some lost boys too. 

Wednesday 15 November- Wendy's movement 

Today we started looking at movement for 'Wendy's song' The groups that were not rehearsing were sat watching, and making notes, i was paying a lot of attention to the other people playing nibs so i could see what they did and take notes from how they played it, i think this really helped me feed into portraying my character better. We focused on the start of act 2 and really started to see the first part of the show come together. 

Thursday 16 November- More movement 

Today, we ran further through the start of act 2, swapping in other casts so everyone had a turn, we also started to get some more of a solid piece together for the brave girls, we discussed together the best way to run the brave girls piece, and we got the start of it properly up on its feet so we could show people. 

Monday 20 November- 

Today we started by running different scenes and seeing which ones really needed working on, we worked on the campfire scene as brave girls and we worked on how we would start the scene and how we would all leave the scene, we were preparing to go to war. We started the first stage of our 'war dance' which was more of a march around the campfire. 

Tuesday 21 November- Fighting with friends 

Today we started the morning off with singing, we worked with Tom in the dance studio to sing the songs, the brave girls worked with Tom to figure out the war chant and brave girls song, and the new lyrics. We then split into smaller groups, to work on different things, the brave girls went off and added more to the war dance, after that, we worked with tom as a big group to choreograph the big pirate and lost boy fight scene. After the lost boys had been captured by the parents, they got free and fight them on deck.

Wednesday 22 November- Friendly fighting 

Today we started off by getting in early and doing a dance warm up, we then worked with Abbie to figure out a war dance to go with our war dance for brave girls now that we have the solid lyrics so we can figure out how it works. we then worked on the scene in the clearing where Tiger lily and the bravest girl lead the brave girls into the clearing in the forest to meet up with peter pan. we finished the day by working on the scene after that, where the pirates come up into the clearing and kidnap the brave girls and kill them. 

Thursday 23 November- More fighting (The faux enemy)

Today we started the final fight scene, the one where the lost boys have broken free from the pirates and they begin to fight the pirates on the main deck of the ship. Tom taught us some techniques, and we put together a full fight. Me and callum got paired up to fight on the scene, the lost boys one by one faught with the pirates and pushed them over board. Until there was no pirates except hook left, we then gathered in a semi-circle around Peter and Hook, and they finished off their fight. 

Monday 27 November 

Today we moved from college premises, to Bobby Dazzlers Dance school, we started off the day with warm ups, we then decided to spend a day working on cast 3, we spent the majority of the day as a group working as the lost boys on 'Wendy's Song' we nailed the whole song and tidied it up, we also got to see the 'Wendy house' that we would be using on stage during the song, and we got to run the whole song with the house too.

Tuesday 28 November  

Today we started off with warm ups, we played 'wha' and 'what are you doing' we then sat all together and read through the script, so that Sophia and Elliott could figure out the sound queues, after that, we ran through all the songs, with the people needed for them, and at the same time, Gracie took the Brave Girls and ran through the song, while they were running cast 3, i was sat figuring out our cargos and also other costumes for the likes of lost boys so we had a more complete list of costumes.  We then sat and watched as people practised the flying. 

Wednesday 29 November

Today we started off with warm ups we played ninja, we then went off into different groups and rehearsed, i sat in makeup and got a practice Brave girls makeup done, after that, i got changed into my costume and we took photos, it was a fun experience getting makeup done and seeing how the brave girls would look with makeup for the first time, i felt like it really helped bring the brave girls to life. 

Thursday 30 November

Today, we started with a warm up of 13, we then split off into the different rooms to run certain things, the darlings went into the main room and worked on the song and first scene. I went into the back room and i helped different people figure out what they wanted to do in parts of their songs they were unsure of, and i helped play music, we then worked on "we're going home" with the lost boys and then Gracie ran the brave girls dance and song. 

Monday 4 December

Today, we started off with warm ups, we started with a physical warm up led by Alan and Erin, we then changed to do a vocal warm up with Sienna and Scarlet. after that, we did a full cast run of trust, once we had finished the full run, we worked on different things that needed polishing for that cast, a main thing for this cast was the brave girls captured and the lost boys fight scenes. 

Tuesday 5 December

Today, we started with vocal and physical warm ups, we then did a run of cast pixiedust, after we did the full run, we also went over the fight scenes for this cast, we then worked on "we're going home" and "wendy's house" for that cast. We also focused on the lost boys on the pirate ship scene. 

Wednesday 6 December

Today we started with vocal and physical warm ups, we then did a run of cast faith, we worked through the whole show, when we werent needed, the brave girls went off to do their own thing and figyre out what else we needed to add into the dance, we also ran through the scene and made sure we had it nailed, we also managed to go through the other casts when they were not needed. We then worked on the things that needed polishing in this cast such as "wendys song".

Thursday 7 December

Today we started off with vocal and physical warm ups, the brave girls then went away as a group and tried to figure out what we could add into the dance when we run off stage to make sure there was something on stage, we worked through a lot of tricks to see what people could do and we figured it out for cast pixiedust. We then realised it eould be best to see what space we had on the stage so we decided to figure it out when we had the stage. 

Monday 11 December

Today, we started off with getting familiar with the space that we had to work with, we found the dressing rooms and how to get around back stage, we then started a full tech run so that sound and lighting knew what they were doing. We ran through with props and set so we knew exact;y what was happening and today i really saw it start to come to life. 

Tuesday 12 December

Today we started with another bit of a lights run, we then got changed and did out first full dress run, we used props and set and we had the sound and lighting, people used mics and we really saw how it was going to look, I really felt excited to perform on the stage and it felt amazing to do the run. we made sure that all the parts that needed brushing up were perfect for the first show. 

Wednesday 13 December

Today, was the first show day, today i played a brave girl, we go in bright and early at half past eight and we started getting ready, people went to their mic and makeup calls and it was an amazing first shpw for our relaxed performance, after the first show we had lunch, we then did a run of cast pixiedust for the second day, the run could have gone better, but i know we will pull ut out of the bag, i have so much faith in us. After that, people started getting called for mics and makeup again, we got ready and we did the full thing again, this time just as good if not even better, it was so fun and i can't wait to do it again tomorrow, we are goung to smash it. 

Thursday 14 December

Today, was second show day, yet again another very early morning, today i played nibs. We went for makeup calls and people got mics, we were all very nervous after the run yesterday, but we went on to the stage and smashed it, i was very nervous, but personally io think it went really well, after the first show, we went to lunch and then did a run of cast trust, ready for tomorrow, the run went very well and we are all looking forward to it. We then got back into makeup and costume, and i got a mic, we went back out onto that stage and we brought it, we did amazing, i am so proud of each and every person. 

Friday 15 December

Today, was third and final show day. Today i played Bravest girl. yet again another early morning, but it was so fun to get ready for the final day. Once we were all ready, we went out onto the stage and we gave it so much and we did so well, after the first show we went for lunch, but today we didnt have another full rehearsal to do, so we went through some things that needed polishing, but after that we got to spend the afternoon as a cast, a faamily toghether, we had a dance battle and we laughed and bonded ready for out sixth and final show. Wen got ready for the final time and we went onto the stage and we gave it our everything, we did it. we worked toghethert to put on what i think is persinallt the best show i have ever been in.
