Thursday 1st May 2025 Today, cast 3 of DNA was out doing their show four the tour so we spent the morning warming up and working on some little scenes we had already blocked to make them better, we then moved on with blocking more scenes when they all got back. Tuesday 6th May 2025 Today, we started with a warm up to help us get into character, and make the show easier for us, all of the susie's had to walk round the space trying to get our attention and we had to ignore them, because in the show we can't see them. We then continued with more blocking of the show. Wednesday 7th May 2025 The Level 4 students are out Today and Tomorrow to do their show 'Jane Eyre' so whilst they were out, we didnt want to start too many new scenes, so with selected groups, we ran what we could in smaller groups of smaller scenes.  Thursday 8th May 2025  Today, we started with The Lovely Bones rehearsals, we started with scene 26. “A new investigation team” In this scene, Lindsey is prepa...

 Monday 2nd April 2025  For my audition, i chose a monologue from ‘Jack and Jill Plays’ In my monologue, a wife is talking to a husband who is dying, and she is grieving him before he actually dies, i wanted to show that in a way, people can grieve someone before they are even dead, as i want to go for Ruth and Lindsey, i thought that this monologue worked well for Lindsey, because the whole Salmon family grieve Susie before they actually know she’s dead. I think that my audition went quite well, i did it once and because of the way i had rehearsed it, i was looking to the side, so Kelly redirected me to do it again, but to do it imagining the bed is in front of me, i tried, but because of muscle memory, i couldn't help but look slightly to the side still, i knew this was something i had to work on.   Tuesday 3rd April 2025 Today we did Railway Children Auditions and recalls for both shows. Tuesday 4th March 2025    Today, rather than having time in the LRC, This morning we had some time in our casts to talk to our tutor about some things that were worrying us about our casts of DNA, our actual rehearsals are going well, but there has been some problems in our cast, and Scarlet has been a very responsible assistant director so rting them out, so today we all sat down together and decided that we should all be talking to each other more because communication has been lacking between us.    Wednesday 5 th March 2025    Today, we did more DNA rehearsals, after our discussion yesterday, i think today’s rehearsals went a lot smoother and we seemed to get on better so we spent today just running through all the scenes we have done, just trying to see the best ways to do those scenes.    Thursday 6 th March 2025    Today we con tinued on a musical number f o r o u r showcase we are do ing welcome to the rock from come fr...
